TAP 9 BALL RULES

1. All Players race to their handicap (Example a 5 vs. a 4 with be a 5-4 race)

2.No player is required to call the 9 ball.

3.The player breaking the balls will be allowed to push out after the break. The opposing player than has the option of shooting or forcing the breaker to shoot. If no balls were made on the break, the player not breaking has the option of pushing out and the breaker has the option of than shooting or forcing their opponent who pushed out to than shoot.

4. Any foul will result in ball in hand anywhere on the table. This includes scratching on the break.

5. All the rules of the popular "Texas Express" will be official with the exception of the 3 foul rule. There will be no 3 foul rule in TAP league play.

6. You do not have to keep track of LOT's. 

7. You are allowed to hit other balls, make balls and or not hit a rail on a push out but you can not pocket the cue ball. Scratches on push outs are a ball in hand foul. If the 9 ball is pocketed on a push out it is spotted.

8. All balls pocketed on the break stay down. 

9. One time out per game. Two handicaps receive 2 time outs per game.
